NEW SUNSET FAERY ON EBAY!
Hi All-

I've been so busy lately, I haven't had time to breath. However, part of that business was creating my new faery, "Kanika, A Sunset Faery." She was inspired by John Atikinson Grimshaw's painting, "Spirit of the Night" which was painted in 1879. I just love the pose and wanted to try it in clay. I was also inspired by the Madagascan Sunset Moth, whose wings are so beautiful they take your breath away! I painstakingly painted them on silk, but of course, Mother Nature is such a master, who can compete? :-) This faery is a little different for me as it's the first time I've given a faery two-tone hair. Also, her skin is a little darker since she is a faery from Madagascar and lives in a tropical climate. Thanks for taking a peek! You can see her auction link below or search #310041764203 on eBay.
